I was singing at the blue monkey...

Well I've had a few requests to update the blog....so that's bloggeriffic. I am apparently making up words now. Good times, great oldies. Well, let's do it to it...

things...at least ten of them...

1.) I probably did the most horrible thing ever yesterday. I ate a tuna fish sandwich in front of my fish, Ludacris. That is damaging. I am hoping he thought I was just eating bread with mayo on it. Oh gosh, I felt so bad that I changed his water which was probably just as horrific as watching me eat fish....I need to repent...asap...on the double.
2.) Yesterday night I had the "pleasure" of helping my friend check her mouse traps in her house. She screamed...I screamed...she jumped...I jumped...she almost peed her pants...that's when I stopped copying her. It was an intense experience and definitely got the pulse going. To say the least....we found 2 mice on the traps....no freakin bueno. At one point I was freaking out so bad I didn't know what to do except laugh....who laughs at a time like that? I do...that's who.
3.) Nothing brings my sister and I together like...Crest White Strips, Matthew McConaughey's Hotness, and dancing to "single ladies" in the middle of a parking lot.
4.) I like to play games but I had to draw the line when my sister asked me to play "Princess memory" with her and my mom....I am pretty sure it was my niece's game in the first place...I mean...are we really that bored that we have to play Princess Memory?
5.) A few quotes I like from a few people I love....
These are from my niece (she's 3)..."I got SKATER ROLLERS" "Chillax" (She told Melissa that...hilarious). "Yah, but we don't have a chimney" (worried about Santa getting in the house). "Yes way, dude" "No way, Jose"
These are from Brittani (bless her heart for coming home)... "A fight was started over a plunger and me" "Obama Chapter 16? Oh...Alma Chapter 60" "Keep your hot pockets in your pants" (even she was confused after saying that one). "I'll toast to that" (after we toasted to special powers, citric acid jucie, her mom, etc etc etc)
This quote comes from my co-worker. We were in the break room and she yells..."I'm not having sex." Oh my gosh...this guy totally turns around and looks at us...to say the least...the very least....one word...awkward.
6.) I had an interview the other day...to make my temp. job into a permanent position so I was reviewing "interviewing tips"....well, I was a little disheartened when it talked about making good eye contact...how am I supposed to do this with the lazy eye situation? Luckily...I am Mormon and we shake hands with people all day on Sunday's so I definitely won on the give a "firm handshake."
7.) You know you live in Nebraska when there is a random pair of cowboy boots on the sidewalk when I leave work and the next day when I walk to work..they are still there....nobody even steals them.... Well, I guess I either live in Nebraska or they were some ugly ugly cowboy boots.
8.) You know Joe, Jr on the movie, "While you were sleeping"? Well someone told me I'd go good with him...that's the most intriguing statement of my life and definitely by all means...not a compliment. At least he's got some goodness going for him...he owns an apartment complex "Live here...I own the joint" and he's got a steady income "He also thinks he invented aluminum foil".
9.) I have a theory....every winter I fall on ice. Well the theory holds true again this year. I totally fell on ice last weekend...in a skirt....all I have to say is that it got rid of the headache I had...so props for that.
10.) now...I am going to put on a few pics from recent events for numero ten.

Please don't ever re-gift a gift...esp. harmonica's....or this may ensue.

The familia acted out the Christmas Story/Nativity on Christmas Eve. Melissa was the donkey (wish I woulda got a picture of that). I was Joseph. Abby was Mary. And the Doll was baby Jesus. So this was our family picture. Dang it...Abby is cute!

We ran out of bows to put on presents so Catherine decided to use the 80's hair clips/bows that Melissa still happens to have around the house for some reason. It made me laugh so stinkin hard.

The shirt says "Mom likes Me best." Catherine truly believes it.

What? Melissa thinks she is liked the best by Mama J?

Oh...both the sisters are mad because they know really I am liked the best!! Woo hoo!

Mama J gave us all these shirts for Christmas. So Stellar! Love it and love my family!

Well, that's all folks. Except I am going to give a special shout out to my friend Meggie...thanks for encouraging me to blog and please come back from vacation already!

14 minutes

I have 14 minutes until it is Midnight...I want to get this posted by then...so here goes nothing.

ten things....any ten things...

1.) When I graduated college from Southern Utah University I never thought I would really have a desire to go back to Cedar City, Utah. As Sister Act 2 states..."It was cool for what it was...but it wasn't all that." (I quote that line probably a good 5.4659 times a week). Well...tonite I had a desire and bought a plane ticket to Cedar City. I am going in January and I am STOKED! Bring it FREAKING on! So excited to see the gang a roo.
2.) My friend Natalie had her baby...a little boy named Clay. I am so excited! Woo hoo for Natalie. This baby has turned me into a professional stalker of the blogs...I went through about 24 blogs until I found one that had a picture of the small child....it was worth it...the baby is cute. WAY cute to be exact.
3.) I think my niece rocks the house. She calls headphones "earmugs" I mean honestly...does it get better than that?
4.) I would like to thank my friend ENPVB....she talked about how she tries to do the dance that Beyonce does in the music video "Single Ladies" well...now I constantly have that visual image in my head and it gets me to laugh out loud....not many things can make me laugh out loud that hard. Thank you Eryn. You have brought more laughter into my life than I know what to do with...hopefully I will continue to only have that visual image in my head during appropriate laughing times. We'll see.
4b.) If you haven't seen the video...youtube it. Then youtube the SNL with justin timberlake and beyonce for that video...oh so hilarious.
5.) I am one lucky fool. I have a friend that calls and sings my voicemail a song everyday. Love it. I'd say so far "Let's get physical" has been the best song...I mean how often do you receive a voicemail with such a deep philosophical meaning? Although, I also love the ones in which the lyrics are forgotten part way through...interesting things happen then...
6.) I have found a way to save money when shopping for new clothes....have really static-y hair. I mean...by the time you get the clothes on and your hair is having a static madness day...nothing looks good and therefore you buy nothing. Just trust me...it saved me some serious dough last week.
7.) Here is a serious question....at what age is it appropriate to start wearing ugly holiday sweaters? I feel I need to be the fashion police and tell people if they are to young to be wearing them.
8.) Something that made me feel really awkward inside the other day...I was at wal-mart and I saw about 5 children that I could not tell if they were boys or girls....they were not babies...they were children. That is an awkward feeling...I had to look away...with the good eye and the lazy eye.
8b.) What is even worse is that as a child I was one of those children that made me people feel awkward inside...dang it all.
9.) I often wish people spoke like the Drummer Boy song....it'd be fun (well for about an hour). Just imagine..."Hi....how ya doing today...pa rum pam pum pum." "Let me direct your call...pa rum pum pum pum."
10.) There was a hit on my fish....meaning someone was going to pay Meggie big bucks to kill it (I bet it was my mom). So thanks be to Meggie for choosing wisely and letting it live. Ludacris, the fish, is doing well and definitely just the coolest thing around. Pretty sure he'll have the most presents under the Christmas tree.
11.) Having the hiccups does not go well with having the stomach flu. I just want to point that out. It could go on the list of "the worst thing..."
12.) It is 5 minutes after the hour so I have to say adieu.

seriously sunday stuff

For those of you who know me and have been following the blog know that I am pretty just lax about life and I like to joke around but sometimes I am serious...and people don't ever quite know what to do...eeekkk...so who knows how you all will take this post. It is Sunday today so I have spent a lot of the day at church and so I am going to keep it low key and be a little more serious. I was reviewing some of my mission stuff this morning and well...I learned a lot from the mission. I feel like I had a "pre-testimony" of Jesus Christ's gospel before the mission. I am so grateful for the knowledge I gained. I love the mission with all my heart. I love life now and the things I am spiritually learning now...so here is some top tenness from the mission.... (as recored in my journals/random papers). No worries...I am sure I'll be back to sarcastic blogging soon enough! :)
As a sidenote...I did this for me. It is important for me to remember these things. I don't do this to be like "look at me." I am just a beginner in my knowledge/testimony of the Gospel. I strive to become better...but I gained a lot of life lessons from the mission and I want to remember them. I did this for me. You don't have to read about it or care about it...but I do. So here it be...just a few tidbits...

1.) This is a quote from my journal...June 6th, 2007. "The moment you recognize you're humble you've lost your humility." That was a quote from someone...then I followed it up with this amazing wisdom..."PRIDE is a fatty sin! Don't look at what man thinks, focus on what God thinks." Wow....crack me up. But I learn that the proud can't accept authority of God and can't accept God's counsel easily. "Be ye humble" is not merely advice.
2.) Here is a quote I learned well from on the mish..."A wise man learns to fall forward like a good ball carrier in football...to make the most of every failure." I love that. I fail at things...but do I learn? Am I making the most of every situation? I learned on the mission that sometimes things don't work out perfectly...in fact sometimes they just fail, but what on the journey did I learn...what was the take home message. There is always a take home message.
3.) This is from my study journal on May 24th, 2007..."Finished the Book of Mormon again! Yay! It's true, it does nothing but give guidance and answers. It strengthens me and helps me become better! I know of its power and that's why I'm here! Because it teaches something great, something that saves. It is a light for dark eyes or dark days! We need the Book of Mormon because the Lord needs/wants us. El Libro De Mormon can and has changed lives. It is working in my own! Feel the power!" I would say I still love the Bible and Book of Mormon that much. And yes...yes I did write "El Libro de Mormon." Call me crazy for thinking I knew some Spanish. Oh man.
4.) John H. Groberg once said, "Sometimes the Lord calms the storm, and sometimes he lets the storm rage and calms his child...he learns lessons from storms he cannot learn from calm seas." I remember I was having kind of a rough time on the mission and we went to the church library to make a copy and someone had left this quote just sitting out (inspiration?...I think yes.) I quickly wrote it on a sticky note and put it in my study journal. I learned that day about the tender mercy of the Lord. I learned that the Lord knows me individually. He knew that the storm would continue to rage as I continued on in the mission but that He could and would calm me.
5.) A quote from Elder Steuer, "When our desire to receive instruction is a greater force than our comfort in remaining as we are, we become teachable." This is something I had to learn as well. I am not a goal oriented person...I do not have much aim (maybe because of the lazy eye)...but I am easily content in life. So...I had to learn to not take comfort in remaining as I am and really push myself and test myself to see how I could/can improve. I just love this because I have seen many great examples of this....esp on the mission. I saw people who were living comfortable lives change everything to receive instruction that will bless their lives and really just forever bless them. They became teachable and they became great students of the Lord. What more could I really desire? That is what I learned...I want to sit at the Masters feet and learn...so uncomfortableness here I come.
6.) Sometimes at the missionary conferences the nurse lady would speak and I have this written down as her words of wisdom..."Floss only the teeth you want to keep." That makes me think of Sister Tate (my first comp...my trainer...my mission mama) and I had a saying..."A companionship that flosses together blossoms together." I learned on the mission that the Lord blessed me with my health...I don't think I have ever been so healthy...even the small things are important to the Lord.
7.) This is written in my study notes..."Alma 20:26...love is the message we should all convey." That is something that I was blessed to learn on my mission...love for anyone and everyone...it was cool to be able to see God's perspective on people and feel His perfect love for them often times as we served them on the mission. I was able to understand that God just wants us to love everyone and not worry about if it is the right thing or not...if it is cool or not...if we have time or not...just do it. Just love with a pure and simple heart. I want to strive to remember that...love is the message we should convey one to another.
8.) Here is another quote that had an influence on me..."To lie in bed after one has awakened, indulging in ease and reverie is a habit fatal to promptness, resolution of character, and purity of mind." To me that meant get up and work when I first heard it. The mission changed me as to a full day...I like to busy busy busy now. (Don't get me wrong...I like down time as well sometimes). But after the mission I just want to be out doing something...working, serving, bugging my friends...just keeping busy. And the mission taught me that the Spirit will be the best guide on how to keep busy in a positive and productive way. The mission will forever have an impact on my attitude towards work and the love of work.
9.) I guess going along with number 8...I learned a huge lesson....to rely on the Spirit we must have the Spirit...that seems pretty obvious (I never said I was a deep thinker)...but I learned I must be living my life the way the Lord has set to receive the Spirit the way the Lord wants to give it so freely to us. That's all...we have to do do our part...we have to make and keep those promises to God...I just gained a strong testimony of living up to my end of the bargain because when I started doing that on the mission I saw the power of the Spirit come into my life and it changed everything in my life for the better...and when I say everything...I mean everything.
10.) On the mission I once sprayed pomegranate juice on my shirt...my white shirt. I knew it was never going to come out. I was mad/upset...that was the first thing I actually was upset about on the mission. (Only because I knew I should have changed my shirt before eating it). Anyway...my companion said "Sister Starr...if it is important to you...then it is important to the Lord." I have carried that with me ever since....The Lord knows we can be frivolous in our worries sometimes, but He still cares. He still wants to help us out and be there for us. I learned that we need to do this for other people.... And yes...the stains came out of the shirt...prayer works, miracles happen. "you gotta have faith..da faith...da faith."
11.) I learned that Christ is my Savior and Redeemer. I learned that He knows me and He loves me. I learned that the atonement can free the sinner and allow them to come back to Christ. I learned that because Christ lives, we can live as well. I learned there would be no Christmas if there were no Easter. I became grateful for my Savior on the mission...not just knowledgeable about the Savior. I came to see the Savior in my life daily...not just in my life at church on Sunday. I came to see Him change my life and clean my life. I came to see....in general.

President Hinckley once asked "Does the testimony of Jesus Christ still burn in your bosom as it did when you were a young missionary?" That is a question near and dear to my heart. It is something I must remember. It is something I will continually work for. It is something I cherish...that fire I felt as I was a young missionary knowing and feeling the truth in a whole new way. I think each of us can recall as we gained a strong testimony of Christ and I hope each one of us can still feel it.

That's all.

pictures anyone?

Ok...my apologies for not blogging for so long. Slacker face to the max. But I am just putting some pics on here and just write randomness because I am T to the ired...tired. It will prolly not be super informative or super amazing but whatere.

The goodness...

1.) So...I got a FISH! Not just any fish, but the best fish ever. Meggie was a gem and took me to get my fish and helped me get it settled. His name is Ludacris! He is a stud. He is a good lookin' fella. And thanks to Meggie he has some orange and white pebbles. Good news is...my fish did not get my genes and does not have a lazy eye...yet. He is a good little swimmer and can do it on little food...take that Michael Phelps.

2.) So the other day my parents and I got out of the car and I saw this squirrel running across the road. And it was literally the fattest squirrel I had ever seen...I was not sure it was gonna make it up the tree...well, we walked to the house and it was so fat because it started eating our pumpkin...as seen below. I am like a 5 year old...I thought it was the coolest thing ever and was like..."Get the camera...get the camera." I mean really...it's not that exciting, but thank goodness for blogs so now you can experience the wonderfulness as well.

3.) Here is the cookie my sister, Catherine, put a turkey on. That is pimp, huh? Can we get a round of applause for her? Yes...yes we can...

4.)Ok...the following two pictures just crack me up. That's all. It's Mama J and Lake. They are to much to handle...you should see those two do 8 minute abs with me...I think the work out comes from all of us laughing so dang hard. Don't be jealous of our amazing abs either...it can happen for you as well.

5.) I make fun of Utah hair. I will be the first person to admit it. It hurts my eyes sometimes. But I will say that I did not realize how hard it is to do Utah hair. Much harder than I expected...as we see below. This is when Catherine and I were trying to give Melissa Utah hair. Man, it's tough and therefore definitely not worth it. Please don't dislike me with a passion for hatin' on Utah hair though...I am not fashionable by any means so it is not state law that you listen to me. Melissa looks hot no matter what though.
6.) The coolest picture ever (to me). You see my pops and I both have lazy eyes...but they are different eyes...so this picture proves that we can look at each other and the camera at the same time. If that's not magic I don't know what is. It makes me happy! And my pops is just cool in general.

7.) The picture below is a duck that my co-worker threw at me one day from her office. It lights up. And it now sits on my computer. Number one...I don't know why I took a picture of it. B...I am sorry the picture is blurry and 4...I don't know why it is on my blog.
8.) For those of you who know the classic story..."Mudballs with rocks in 'em" the following picture is for YOU! It is my niece and me standing in a bunch of mudballs...with rocks in 'em. Abby is a cute kid as well. Please take special note of that. "Now that's freedom."
9.) Just bringin' sexy back...that's all. Jordan and I took before pics as we are about to lose some serious weight...I would like to thank the following...melissa...for her coat so I could stuff it under my sweatshirt so no matter what it'll look like I lost weight and I would like to thank meggie for being our registered dietitian...what would we do without her support and that intense look she is giving in the picture...It totally makes me want to lose weight. Talk about run on sentence.
10.) Every year we make gingerbread houses. I am not really the decorative type so mine are always a little questionable to say the least...the very least. Well...mine is the first one on the left in the picture. I have been watching the series "Heroes" lately...season 1 on DVD. Anyway...good show and apparently I think anyone can survive anything hence the reason I have gummy bears on a sled...sledding off the roof. They will be okay no doubt. Random anyone? All I know is that because of this gingerbread making I ate my weight in peanut butter m&m's...literally.
11.) Well this week was stellar because my youngest "daughter" from the mission came home. Sister Hause or "Hauserpie" as I called her is definitely just one of my most favoritest people ever. (I know that is bad grammar, but it hasn't stopped me thus far). Anyway...she is amazing for a number of reasons...for example...she is hilarious, she can put up with me, she had some stellar quotes, she rocked the missionary work and always had the Spirit, she is always striving to become better and she does it, she can look and talk like Drew Barrymore, etc etc etc. The following pics are numero uno...when we salvaged a exercise bike (long story but so hilarious). numero dos...just the two of us on her bday. and tres...."Ojala, mi caballo" Hauserpie has some mad spanish skills...kinda. Good times. Anyway, I am stoked she is home now.

Well I am sorry this blog has been a little lame-o but I added pictures which is new and exciting. I will try to work on my mad blogging skills. Have a stellar day.

Bring on the bacon.

Highlights as of late...

1.) I would like to thank Sheena for her kindness in putting some decoration on my blog. The turkeys are in honor of the turkey dance she does...a once in a life time kinda show.
2.) My friend Natalie is having a baby in 3 weeks. I am STOKED outta my mind. I have known her since I was 3 and she has just been my friend forever so I am just excited to see her as a mama. And I am excited she went old school so we don't know what the sex of the baby is.
3.) I saw a sign today that said that Chicken cordon bleu will not be leaving Arby's any time soon. Just in case you were worried about that...I know that I can now sleep peacefully at night. (That is a lie...I could rest easily never having read that).
4.) I think most of us do one or two uncool things everyday....or maybe I am just saying that to make myself feel better...here is mine for today. I drove the sister missionaries to Omaha and my friend Liz rode along. Well, Liz and the sister missionary started singing songs....well the song started off quieter and I reached for the volume button on the radio to turn them up...then I realized that it wasn't going to work seeing how they were live human beings in the car...so I quickly grabbed some sunflower seeds pretending like that is what I was going for. It makes me uncool...but it's kinda funny.
5.) I got gasoline for a buck 79. just take that and smoke it in your piece pipe.
6.) I would like to give a shout out to my sister, Catherine. She's pretty much amazing. I was going to take one of the famous Starr Pizza Pan cookies to work and my co-worker was like, I want a turkey on the giant cookie. So Catherine made this freakin stellar turkey outta frosting on the top of the cookie. It was sweet.....people loved it. They thought she was professional...oh, cuz she is! Dang straight that's my sister.
7.) This lady is at work is highly confused. She thinks my nickname should be Mother Theresa...she obviously does not know me well enough...but I'll just keep her fooled for now.
8.) I got my hair did. Thank you Terri. It looks amazing. I wish I could have Terri make my hair look sharp every day. Melissa's homie told me that it matches better with my glasses...crack me the heck up.
9.) I would like to point out that I don't think that the bitter Nebraska wind got the whole global warming memo.
10.) The other day I accidentally deleted all the birthdays from my calendar in my cell phone. All I could think was the quote from Hook, "bad form jack" So if I forget your birthday...my bad. Gotta hate when electronics are smarter than me.
11.) Have you heard about the pirates lately? (that sounds like the beginning of a bad joke). Anyway, I was sitting in the break room and CNN was talking about the pirates and this lady was saying how she can't believe there are pirates. Well I can because I think it would be awesome to become a pirate. Hands down that would be the raddest thing ever. I told them I wanted to be a pirate but that I guess I would have to leave Nebraska for that to work out properly....otherwise I'd just be kickin it on the man made lakes.
12.) Well my life is freaking awesome as of late. I just work and play. Who needs more than that?
13.) I happened to see the movie twilight...at midnight...don't ask me why...call it sisterly love/duty. I have not read the books nor will I. I am glad I sat by shannon who had not read the book so we laughed together at the parts nobody else was laughing at and I was also sitting next to Meg...who had read the books so she could keep us up to date on the story line. "Hold on my spider monkey." Apparently that is a good line....who knew.
14.) just here is my take home message for today...it's a quote..." A person without a sense of humor is like a wagon without springs. Jolted by every pebble in the road." I think we just gotta have happiness and top ten days!

....negative zero for forthcoming blogging adventures...i am getting a fish ASAP! I am excited times forty five.

one love,

Theresa

just me.

The thoughts of my life....

1.) People always say that you shouldn't have regrets...well, I regret going to the chinese buffet for lunch today. I am pretty sure something is alive in my stomach now. It is trying to speak to me...I have not interpreted it quite yet.
2.) I don't like it when Anneli leaves town. I think it should be against the law. I missed her dance she does when I yell "A-Money" at her at institute. It's quite the little jig.
3.) I wish my job title could be what Akon calls a "homieloverfriend." Do you have to go to college for that?
4.) The institute parking lot is always full of cars...it's like the safe haven law for cars. People just drop them off and nobody quite knows what to do...Tonight we had a car in the way and it just furthered my desire to learn the talent of picking up cars and moving them.
5.) Today at work was lovely...I re-duck taped the handle bars to my skooter. That is a success.
6.) Apparently I have to enroll in a 12 step program for Meggie....who knew I had such an addiction....good thing she told me. Talk about someone giving you a subtle hint that she needs some mad space from you.
7.) My sister's foster kid learned how to say "T-sa" which is my name. I am stoked outta my mind about that. He rocks my world.
8.) Visiting teaching parties at coffee houses seem to be a wonderful idea. Why don't they ever mention that at church? I mean...what...I've just heard through the grape vine.
9.) I heard a song on the radio yesterday...not my favorite. The chorus says "A baby changes everything." Apparently F. Hill sings it and well it was a little much for me....come to find out later that it was Christmas song, but seriously....I disliked it so much that when I first heard it I couldn't even change the station....sorry if you like it.
10.) There is a church called the "Church of the Brethren." The pastor is a female....hmmm....
11.) I was teaching with the sister missionary the other day...teaching a Chinese guy and Heather came in...she is jewish...just got baptized. Well....the Chinese guy says to Heather..."I always was taught that Chinese and jewish people are the smartest in the world." Heather responds, "I was taught that too." Talk about a blow to the self-esteem. I always thought people from Nebraska were up there in the smarts....I guess not. Dang it.
12.) Women cry a lot I'd say. They have no problem having a good cry. It happens to me....I found a way I like though. The other day I woke up from a dream just bawling....now that is a way to have a good cry...I have no idea what it was about but all those pent up emotions were let out. Perfect.

I think that is all I got tonite since I am pretty sure I am the only one who ever sees this thing....oh well. It works for me. Life is good. I am just loving it. I am just blessed to the max.

oh the joys....

Well, it is a Saturday night and I am just living the life. I am babysitting...watching the food network and playing on a laptop.  Oh...so relaxing, this is what weekends are all about.

Top Ten list as of late...
1.)  We had the missionaries from my parents ward over the other day. One of them told me I would be a good talk show host....now I am not sure whether that is a compliment or not!?! I mean...are we talking Oprah style or Jerry Springer style?
2.) I think cranberry meatballs sound disgusting...no thank you food network. no thank you.
3.) Last week my co worker, Amber, and I matched 4 out of 5 days in our clothing style. The one day we didn't match definitely showed me I needed to broaden my clothing style. She had on a harley davidson shirt...I mean, I couldn't have pulled that outta any closest in my house.  I know, surprising that Mama J and Pops aren't running around in Harley clothes. PS...don't ask why we were matching. No one knows...we don't even know why.
4.) You can be having a good day at work...everything is going your way...UNTIL you start to get off on the wrong floor when the elevator door opens and man...it is hard to recover from the embarrassment of that.  People never know quite what to say to that...everyone just looks down...the person tries to recover with the slight laugh and the "Ha...is it Friday yet?" Poor souls that this happens to....not me of course. Never me.
5.)  Jack-Kay pointed out something funny the other day...the fact that my sister, Melissa, still believes me even though usually I am being sarcastic or trying to get a rise out of her. For example, the other night I told her that my parents were getting a fake christmas tree this year...she had a moment of freaking out while at a restaurant in front of her homies. It was hilarious. Then I tried it on my other sister, Catherine, and it worked as well.  I know, it is cruel but oh so funny.
6.) Have you ever heard of Restless leg syndrome? Well...when I first heard of this I thought it was make believe...I thought...who has that? I mean really...come on. Then I met somebody that did and kinda wanted to get their autograph because I was so excited that it was real.  Well...I heard of something that could top that.... Foreign accent syndrome.  It's when you suddenly wake up and speak with a foreign accent...hence the name.  I am thinking if I had to get a syndrome, that'd be my choice. And if I ever meet someone with this syndrome...I am totally getting the autograph this time.
6b.) One time I had a cold so I went to the doctor. My friend asked me about it and I told her that my doctor told me I had "restless nose syndrome." She believed me....again...cruel...and funny. I am a horrible person.
7.) I was at an enrichment dinner the other night and for some reason we started talking about what we would do if we lost our eyebrows....who talks about things like that? It was a good convo. (Whoopi doesn't have eyebrows...watch Sister Act 1 or 2). Anyway, we decided for me...I'd just tattoo my name as eyebrows...so if you ever see "Theresa Starr" across my eyebrow area...you will know what happened.  Glad I don't have to worry about that future decision anymore.
8.) I listen to music at work and sometimes I really wanna bust a move so I do...but mostly I jam out with my toes. I guess you could say I have toe jam...sounds nasty, but alls I am saying is...I probably could lose one pound this next year with all the dancing my toes do to the music at work....and at least this way people won't see me jamming out.
9.)  This post is FOREVER long. My bad.
10.)  I saw my friend Jota, Jota today...that pretty much rocked my knee highs off...yah...I had knee highs on. don't ask.
11.) My sister, Catherine, has a foster kid....a little tyke. He is a stud to the max. and last night I taught him how to do bones...or rocks...or whatever Megan calls it (sorry, I forget). Anyway, I feel like that is definitely a life long skill to have...I am glad I could impact society for the long haul.
12.) You know how I have a lazy eye? and you know how people say "in my minds eye"...well, sometimes I think I have a "Lazy minds eye." It's definitely a possibility.  Just saying is all.
13.) Well....on a more serious note. I went to Willie's baptism today.  It was awesome. He got up and said a few words and he was talking about Jesus and he said regarding that, "Boy, he delivers." I loved that small statement. It just rung true to me. Christ does deliver. He is here for us. He does give his everything for us. He is our Savior and Redeemer. I am just so grateful for that knowledge. It makes my day happy everyday. It gives me goodness for my life. Christ has truly delivered me lately. How has he delivered you? How has he given you ten things to be happy about?

Well, I hope you have a good one.
-Teresa...no....THERESA....gotta love the H.
